Headwaters is always looking for new members for our team. Most of our staff are either long-time collaborators from our decades in the hydrogen business or graduates of our cooperative education program, where we continuously train university students in the art and science of process plant design, control, fabrication, construction and commissioning. Our location in Ithaca, New York, the heart of the Finger Lakes region, provides a great mix of urban convenience and culture with easy access to the great outdoors, excellent schools, and short commutes - with many employees walking to work.
Current Openings
Experienced metal fabricators are needed for pressure vessel, piping and structural steel fitup and welding in a shop environment, day shift on high quality modern equipment. Welding will be Code quality, using TIG, stick, flux core and subarc on carbon steel, low alloy steel, stainless and some nickel alloy. Experience in pressure vessel or boiler work is desirable, but experience with pipe or structural welding is helpful and acceptable for this position. Training will be provided to enable all successful applicants to fit and weld x-ray quality in all company processes.
